This body of work is a continuation of "the kite stories." While "the kite stories" deal more closely with the realities of pain and death, "the place with the fireflies" expands to include the general absurdities and frustrations encountered in life. Memories and experiences are filtered through the understanding of a child and use the landscape as a metaphor for my experience. Click each square to view the full image.
